Desperate Housewives (great start, still enjoy) I do feel it will fizzle out in 2 seasons. Not sure why? What about Brian (interesting concept, love it!), 7th Heaven (old family fav). Brother's and sisters (love it). Men in trees. (Not half bad;) How about Gray's Anatomy!?

Happy to see you posting again Cort. Can see you are thinking deeply. Good sign my friend.:D

Hi Cort,

Just wanted to say I was happy you stuck Rob Morrow on there. Northern Exposure remains to this day my favorite show of all time. I own the first five seasons on DVD and have already ordered the sixth and final season for when it comes out in March! Morrow left midway through the sixth season to pursue a film career and now he's back on TV about 10 years later. Guess some things just don't work out. David Caruso could probably relate...nypd to csi: miami with a brief try at a movie career.

By the way if anyone is looking for a new show to get addicted to I recommend HBO's The Wire. I have purchased and watched the last 2 seasons since Christmas! It is battling Northern Exposure for number 1 on my list.

I am a Battlestat Galatica fan and 2 of my favorites:

Edward James Olmos: From "Stand and Deliver" to Touched By an Angel" to "Battlestar Galatica".

Mary McDonnell: From "Dances With Wolves" to "ER" to Battlestar Galatica".

Another fine actor who has really polished over the years: James Spader: From "***, Lies & Videotape" to "The Practice" to "Boston Legal".

And how about William Shatner: From "Star Trek TV" to "Star Trek Movies" to "T.J. Hooker" to "Boston Legal" among many other roles.

I'm with Hennsylee about the fellow from Monk, who was recycled from that old comedy about the brothers who owned a tiny airline.

Monk and House are definitely my favorites. Fascinating characterization, something that was long missing from films and TV. Ally McBeal seemed to bring some of it back, and even Boston Legal shows some. I don't know what the fellow from House might have been in prior. (Hugh Laurie?)

Best wishes,

*grins devilishly*

Or a scary sign, depending on one's POV ;). He he!

But, seriously, thank you, Gina :).

I'm not sure I agree with you, however, on Desperate Housewives. If it was going to fizzle, I would've thought last season would've done it in ... just didn't feel the writing or acting was there. This year, however, holy crapola ... it's back (or, at least, nearly back) to the original season in terms of acting and writing, imho, anyway ;).

I liked What About Brian? at first, too ... then, they destroyed that Olds Custom Cruiser. Bye bye me, too. He he.

Brad,
Ya know ... sadly, I must admit that I never watched much of Northern Exposure. I caught a few episodes, but for whatever reason, it never clicked with me. I know several others who watched NE and also Men In Trees (which I watch) and have told me that I really should've watched NE more than I did since I like MIT.

*shrugs*

I do remember seeing Rob on NUMB3RS for the first time and KNOWING that I had seen him before ... but, at the time, couldn't place it, until I did some research about a week or so after that first episode ;).

tobagotwo ... that was "Wings" ... loved that show ;).

One of the other top actors ... Timothy Daly ... on that one was on "The Nine" recently. And, Steven Weber has also been on a number of shows since then....
