I bet you thought I'm a jersey devil fan, NO WAY

I live 15 minutes outside of philadelphia, where your beloved team will be playing very shortly.

And if Murphy's law is on my side, which it usually is, the Flyers will do Great, because it's the first time in several years that we DIDN'T buy play-off tickets!

Do you remember the Domi fight with one of our "tough-guy" fan, Our paper called it "dumb and domi". It's going to be a great series!:D

Golly Terry, I think I'm going to have to side with Jack here. This is the year for the Leafs.

Getting tickets for even a regular season game in Toronto is next to impossible. I couldn't imagine how much playoff tickets go for.

WOO, our Leafs just scored while I was typing this!!! Short handed even. (I hope I didn't just jinx anything)

Good luck Philly, but I'm always rootin' for the Leafs.

Oh poo, Philly just scored. I DID jinx it. :(

I thought all hockey fans were here in Detroit.
Go Wings!!!!

Where are all the hockey fans?? Hopefully watching the games! Not a Devil fan??!! Big Dev fan here...Gave up on NY hockey. Love the Devils!! I got tickets to the game on Friday. Very excited! Glad I won't be in the hospital this year during the playoffs. This is a great time of year...I hope everyone enjoys the playoffs. Let's Go Devils!!!:D :D :D

Eddie! Eddie!

Eddie! Eddie!

I agree with Jack and Bunny - the Leafs are tops especially now that they have my favourite goalie and mentor, Eddie the Eagle. I've been a fan of his ever since I started playing and even patterned my style after his. It helped win a couple championships during my playing days.

Sorry about your luck with the Flyers, Terry. One down, three to go!

I'm hanging my head...

I'm hanging my head...

But, the Flyers were not on their game last night.

Wow a hat trick for Mogilny, my son said he the one the Flyers have to stop!

But the game winning goal was by a Philly home grown favoite, one of the "Legion of Doom" Renberg, which we will never forgive Bobby Clarke for trading him.

The Devils have always been the Flyers' Nemisis, It's a shame they don't have more of a following, my family has been to several of the game at their arena when they played the Flyers, of course the Flyers usually loose.

We always thought that Satan would be a good addition to the Devils team???

The Wings have a powerhouse of players, they will be the western champions playing one of our eastern champions

Thanks everyone for joining this thread,

GO LEAFS!

GO LEAFS!

I think Mogilny is a robot. But I'm still a Sundin fan.

Brad are you not playing anymore?

If we're showin hockey pics, than here is mine from last year.

Hey Bunny, nice pic! You can play on my team anytime.

Had to give up the game after the heart valve op - it's not recommended to play any kind of contact sports let alone goaltending in hockey. You should have seen some of the bruises I got even before I was put on coumadin - the risk of internal bleeding is too great. One of the guys I used to play with had a 90 mph slapshot at age 15 and if you took one of those off a tender area, it just about killed you. We all thought he was going to make the NHL one day. Thing is, he is a better baseball player than he is a hockey player. Don't know if you heard of him or not - Scott Thorman - signed with the Atlanta Braves organization a couple years ago at age 18 for 1.25 million (US$ no less!) - highest ever signing bonus for a Canuck. Oh well, I'm just happy to be alive and ticking.

Redwings Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Redwings Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, as Bunny knows ... Mr Mark here well pay attention during the final series when my Redwings finally get some competition. :D

Poor Jack and Brad ... their as lost as Bunny.

Rich, isn't it funny how their in a state of panic already? As for us; where just cool as they come! Sort of like two guys having martini's on the beach, checking out the chicks, and just waiting for the 'big' game to show up!

Well, Mark my friend, looks like the Ducks are about as much "game" as your aging clipped Wings can handle. Hope the snow clears on the local Detroit golf courses soon.

I feel like a circus freak.
I am the only non-gay male in Canada that doesn't find hockey interesting.

You look great!

Brad

The goalies can get pretty beat up, best not to do it with coumadin and a zipper scar.

Where's those Detroit fans??? your team didn't do so good in the first game either.

Flyers' second is tonight, my son and his friend managed to get tickets, he wouldn't tell me how much he paid for them.

Kevin,
My father who watches every other sport know to man, does not like hockey either, he does the quick updates to be able to keep up with his 5 kids-minus one, who are Flyers fans, accept for the oldest.

"Let's Go Flyers"

GO WINGS!

GO WINGS!

Hi Rich and Mark, count me in too! And these guys better watch their tongues about age...isn't it "Age and treachery will beat youth and enthusism every time"?

Thanks Brad and Terry, it's all about lookin' good on the ice. HAHA who am I kidding!? ;)

If we're talkin' age here...aren't the Leafs like the oldest team on average? I remember hearing something like that.

Kevin, I used to HATE watching hockey before I started to play. Now I think it's great. And there's something even more exciting about the playoff season.

Brad I think it's better to be alive and ticking then having pucks shot at you at 90 mph. :) I know that for girls we have a non-slapshot recreational league with varying skill levels. Is there anything offered like that for guys, or would you be able to play anything like that? I don't know, but I've been wondering about my future hockey "career" and if I'll be able to play when I get closer to my surgery time.

Well game 2 is tonight. GO LEAFS GO! :D

GO WINGS!

GO WINGS!

Ah yes age and experience.
It didn't help much last night but they lost the first two playoff games last year.
They did keep me up past my bedtime last night, we will see what happens tommorow.
70 shots on goal but no luck, their goalie really did a great job.

red wings down 2

red wings down 2

flyers are one/one it's the devils that are up by 2

are we still watching the games, or mesmorized by the beautiful weather the east coast is having?!?

The Devils are 3-0 with the Bruins now, Went to Game 2 on Friday, it was great.

Terry, You have to be a little proud that The Devils are doing so good!

Well, Good luck to the rest of my fellow hockey fans and their teams!

Hey Bunny, I don't think you should play any kind of sport when contact is an integral part of the game once you're on coumadin. It's not only the hard shots. You could accidentally fall on your head and start bleeding internally. And heaven forbid, what if you got sliced with a skate blade accidentally as I've seen happen.

Nope, my playing days are over until I can get rid of this mechanical ticker and replace it with a "home grown" tissue valve one day.
