I have been prescribed a non-prescription 80mg dose of aspirin each day. What I can gather, and I may be wrong, is that 80mg is a children's dose of aspirin. 81 mgs makes it an adult dose. I find the 81mg bottle very easy to find and you can buy it in fairly large quantities. The 80mg bottle is small and usually behind the counter because it is childrens. Is there much of a difference between 81mg and 80 mg. Could I safely take a 81mg even though I was asked to take a 80mg. What do you think? Thank you.

I take the 81mg. I have been taking this for over two years. Under my cardios recommendation I really see no difference.

I think I have even noticed that our members in the UK seem to take 75 mg. As long as it is somewhere around 80 mg,, I don't think it makes a difference.

Great thanks guys logically that 1mg of aspirin must be pretty small. I am going to switch to easier, cheaper 1mg extra aspirin and if you don't hear from me I was wrong.

The difference between 80 and 81 mg is 1.25%. No Big Deal.

I'm thinking Low Dose Aspirin in Europe is 100 mg.
