Test and Breathing

spent 14 hours in the hospital because I cant walk 10 feet without losing my breath. If I stand still for a while I can walk forever. They sent me for a stress test stopped it at 79% but I take metoprolol. Did a mibi test and they told me nothing, wore a halter for 2 days told me nothing went for a echo today and again was told nothing. Why is it it is your life but you are the last to know anything. Frustrated I guess because I feel I am here again not even 4 years later. Thanks for letting me whine with the poor me syndrome. Just want to know what the problem is so I can attack it head on. We as valvereplacement people are tough customers I feel we just need to know.Thank you Dick for your last reply, you are my Rock which I like to follow

If your Dr. isn't answering your questions maybe you need a different Dr. In the meantime, ask for copies of all your test results. You are entitled to them and maybe they will shed a little light.

Yes it is frustrating. I just had an echo test also and it's been two days and I've heard nothing from my cardiologist. I kept asking the person doing the test what they saw. They replied they can't tell me anything. Except that if it was bad they be rushing me off to the hospital So I so I guess since they let me go isn't immediate concern but it's still frustrating .
