Good luck Praline! You'll do just fine. When you wake up afterwards, you're gonna be thinking...gee, I wish I hadn't freaked myself out so much! You'll see! ;)

Hang in there Praline. You're going to do just fine.
We'll see you on the other side of this.

Carolyn-loved your story about the urine test. If that didn't make her laugh, nothing will.
Praline-just think how many new family members you have who will be in the waiting room in spirit if not in body. I know I will be thinking about you all day tomorrow and we have never met in person. I have walked in your shoes. I remember that night last August when I tried to sleep the night before surgery. That was many nights ago now.
We all know you will be fine. You may be uncomfortable for a while but your heart will thank you later. You will be fixed and feel so much better. Then you will be joining us on the post op thread.
Waiting to hear from you once you are back home.

Yes. it made us both laugh

Yes. it made us both laugh

Yes, Perkicar's post about the pregnancy test made both my husband and I laugh. :D
I was pretty good all day but now my husband is in bed so he can get some sleep. He has not been sleeping good all week. I have not slept too many hours each night but I have been sleeping soundly. Thank God for small favors.:)
Now my heart is pounding. I am going to take a shower with that fancy soap  Then I am going to try to listen to my Guided Imagery CD. That has been helping calm me down.
Then I wil be back here ,then on my teachers site for a while, then after that maybe I'll read and go to bed.
Thank you all again.

Praline-
Good luck on your surgery!! There are plenty of people who have made it through with flying colors and I'm sure you will follow that route as well.

Good luck tomorrow!

Good luck tomorrow!

Look forward to seeing you on the other side.

Praline,

For each of my surgeries, I was already in the hospital. I had meds to help me sleep and, since there was nothing else to do, I slept.

I think if I was home the night before surgery, I would not have slept. I have trouble sleeping anyway and I am sure my mind would be going a mile a minute.

If you can still laugh, you will do fine. Godspeed and see you on the other side.

Praline,

No getting "cold feet" at this stage of the game. Put them climbing boots on tomorrow, grit your teeth, chin up (don't trip) and let those butterflies loose.:D :D We look forward to your posts from the other side of the mountain. Good Luck and many prayers are coming your way.

Anyway, they will fill you with that "happy juice" and you really won't care anymore.:D Just say "BRING IT ON"!!!!!:D :D :D

May God Bless,

Danny

Praline,

Here I thought we would be all done with the surgery when you headed in for yours. Now, you will be all done and home before we even leave for the hospital. :) You will be in our thoughts and prayers. You are going to be fine.

Looking forward to your husband keeping us all updated on your recovery.

Love and Prayers,

Ann
