Lots of surgery this month it seems so heres to waking to a new life and a speedy recovery.
My surgery is AVR, Anerysm repair Bentalls Procedure, Maze Procedure all under DHCA. No heat lung for me
Im going to ask the surgeon for a death certificate so I can claim my life insurance *lol*:D
My friend sujusted the surgeon ad a couple of extra angled incisions atop my zipper scar so I can prove my post mortem to the insurance company.
Seriously though still stressing though I have a top surgeon and only manage a couple of hours sleep per night.:(
I cant wait for it to be over so I can get back to work. Bored to tears at home after 2 months of no work.
Still worried about taking Warfarin for the rest of my life affecting my QOL and imacting my hobbies but I trust the surgeons suggestions on a mechanical valve. At 36 I dont wont OHS again.
I also will be asking for a copy of my op vid ( if he films for training)for prosperity
Anyway Im babling from stress so I may try some elusive sleep.

9 more sleeps!

9 more sleeps!

Only 9 more sleeps till your op, I wish you all the very best, and look forward to hearing all about it after your op. Loads of luck, just think how good it will be to have it over and done with and the improvement it will make for your life. Take Care.

Sending best wishes for successful surgery and uneventful, fast recovery. Be sure to let us know how you are doing.
