Man time flies! I feel like it was just the other day that I was making plans to go under the knife. I go in on Friday at 7am and hope for an uneventful surgery. My family will be there for support.
I am not sure I will post as fast as Perkicar - but I promise to update you all as soon as I can!
Lastly - thanks for all who have been supporting me on this webpage. It has opened my eyes about all different topics. Without all of you, I would be clueless! Thanks! :)

Kris,

Best of luck to you. I am sure you will be fine because you have so many people thinking of and praying for you.

Keep smiling.

Sending you all our best wishes for an uneventful and speedy recovery.

Kris,
We will be here waiting to hear from you. And in the mean time you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Hope you have an uneventful surgery and a super fast recovery.

Krista

Sending the post operative angels straight to your room. Love the pup

Wishing you all the best, Kris. We'll be waiting anxiously for the good news.

Kris,

The rest of your "extended" family will be sitting here waiting to "see" the posting of your successful trip down the other side of the mountain. Take real good care of yourself and prayers and good thoughts are coming your way.

May God Bless,

Danny

Good luck Kris! We've spoken before so you know my thoughts are with you!! But just wanted to voice it again.
Look forward to seeing your 'HOME' post!!

Love Emma

All the best!

All the best!

I just want to wish you good luck for Friday. Remember that you'll be asleep, but the surgeon and staff will be wide awake to make sure all goes well. See you on the other side of the mountain, take care and have faith!!

Kris:

You're going to do great. Be positive and see yourself strong and healthy in the weeks ahead.

Where are you having your surgery and with which doctor? I'm having AVR on June 1st at May in Rochester with Dr. Zehr.

I just got off the phone with the nurse to pre-register - fun times!!

I will be having surgery at the University of Minnesota with Dr. Lyle Joyce

You will be in my thoughts, I can assure you.

There is a certain undercurrent of alarm in your post that I can relate to. As the time approaches, it seems to move much faster, and it feels almost like you're getting ready to take that one, last, big breath before diving underwater.

You may actually find yourself quite calm by the time you get into the hospital, though. Surprisingly, once you release yourself from the responsibility, and give it over to the surgeon, it can be rather peaceful.

Stay strong and positive. It will go better than you think.

Best wishes,

Hey Kris,

I wish the very best for you with your surgery. You will be in our prayers. I'll be watching for your posts to see how your doing.
