My surgery has been scheduled for next week Tuesday 26th at ENtabeni Hospital in Durban (South Africa) Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Will be away for almost eight weeks do not have Internet access at home but will try and update you as soon as I recover

I'm glad you have your surgery date. In a few weeks time, you will be on the road to recovery and ready to tackle the rest of your life.

You will be in my thoughts on the 26th. With you being six hours ahead, I'll have to start thinking early. Please know that in some sense, you will not be there alone.

It's a scary episode in life, but you will get through it, as so many of us have. I look forward to your eventual posts. Perhaps there will be someplace near or in the hospital to post, should questions arise.
