Surgery date changed

Hi everyone,

My surgery date has been changed to
Thursday, November 6, early a.m.

Wayne and my sister will be posting for me that evening.

The schedule change was because my surgeon was called out of town for a medical conference at the last minute.

You must have known I was about to call and check up to see if it were still a go for tomorrow. I know your going nuts sitting there, so get out and have some more fun and fill up the waiting time. You should have cooler weather tomorrow with a little rain, but nothing you can't handle. Thanks for the update!!!!

I am soooo sorry you got postponed. That is just the worst!!! I feel so badly for you because I know you were mentally and physically prepared to go through with it. Do something you enjoy while waiting (I know if possible, not always easy) and hang in there. You have all of us thinking of you. We know you can do it!

I know it must be grrrrr, when your ready for the plunge, and a STOP comes up.

However, you will now have a little more private time, in your protected world -- enjoy it.
Once the ball starts rolling, all private enclosures are gone for a while. You will be told why, how and when about everything,but remember you are the canvas upon which this team of profesionals will perform their artistry. They will make you a better healthier you.

Cancellation

I had a bed at 10.00am this Sunday but at 12.45 pm., just as I was setting off to the hospital, I was called by the beds manager to tell me that the infection that had closed the I.C dept at the Lonon Heart Hospital for the past 3 weeks had returned with a vengeance. I am now postponed until June 1st. So to kill tiome I dug the garden for 4 hours that afternoon and played 18 holes of golf yesterday and today plus, ( I'm a musician) played two ballet perforformances. I have no breathlessness, but a bicuspid aorta with moderate to severe stenosis.
