Monday -- Day of the Apocalypse -- oh wait, not that, thank goodness. Day of the Eclipse. Partial starting in Oregon now, soon totality there, and then will flash across the country with totality through the heart of South Carolina around 230 -- 245. Awe-inspiring happening -- sun is playing peekaboo with the clouds along the coast but I think we will be good to experience it. Have solar glasses on hand.
Woke up to thunder this morning. A lot happens here along the Grand Strand. You've heard of thundersnow; we could have a thundereclipse.
Well, wherever you Coursers are (total, partial, or not in on this one), hope you have a great week.
I will be back later... off to my solar adventures, (Time to exercise my flying skills....)
Cheers all,
Superbob
Oh and we are at 99% totality in Myrtle Beach. 100% farther south in Georgetown and Charleston. For an extra 1% I did not care to battle the traffic and people texting while driving while watching the eclipse while texting....ugh.
