A new year -- stayin' the course, stayin' the course! Best wishes to all yawl -- wishes for a safe, healthy, and happy New Year!
We had a ball in Nashville at the Music City Bowl. Sampled the city's wonderful assortment of food and musical fun, and then the Tennessee Volunteers delivered big-time in the game -- downing Nebraska 38-24. It was their third straight bowl win over a Big Ten team -- nice bragging point. They were as sharp as I'd seen them all year, and it made me feel young to join in the "Rocky Top" cheering and fist-bumping with my Vol brothers and sisters. Happiest sports day in my life, next to my son being the winning pitcher in a conference championship game in college baseball. (Well, okay, some of my grandkids sports accomplishments rank higher too -- I should say my happiest moment rooting for any of my favorite teams not fielding any of my family members)....
As for getting back on the fitness course, I've got work to do! I've got double dawgs for two weeks (big ol' Dasher as well as Ellie) so that's a start. They both love to be walked. The big challenge will be returning to sensible eating and getting back on the scales to track progress.
Will love to hear how y'all have been doing!
Cheers,
Superbob
