Richard,

Just wanted to wish you Godspeed. I will pray that all goes well. Please try and have someone post for you after surgery. We look forward to hearing from you on the other side of the mountain.

Gee Whiz!
This one about got past me, and I bet alot of other people too!
I hope that the surgery has gone well, and you are working on recovery.
Please have someone post so we will know how you've done.

I have an excuse, but I still feel bad. This should not have happened. By now, it's over and I hope all is well. Shame on all of us!

Hey Richard,
Sorry I missed this one also. You should be on the other side of the mountain by now. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Take Care

Best wishes Richard - we hope to hear soon that all went well and you are having an uneventful recovery.

Godspeed, Richard. I look forward to hearing all about your adventures when you're on the other side!

The best, Richard. Let us know how you're doing as soon as you can.

Hi Squashplayer,

I play squash too -- the first physical activity I tried was hitting a squash ball about seven weeks post op. Found that I could warm the ball up ok and wasnt in pain but my heart rate went too high too easily and didnt recover quickly after exercise.

Since you play squash you must be in good shape -- I think you will do very well.
All the best with your recovery. Maybe someday we can have a game...

Regards,
Burair

Richard, I agree with Ross. Shame on us. By now you are coming down the other side of the mountain. I pray that everything went okay with you. Please let us hear from you as soon as you are feeling better.

Squashplayer,

I, too, am fairly new to this site, and just caught up with news of your surgery. I read your profile and your situation going into surgery sounds somewhat similar to mine going in two months ago. I had severe stenosis, calcification, a severely enlarged aortic root, and a valve leaking what the surgeon termed "catastrophic amounts of blood." And I, too, had few symptoms going in.

Just wanted to tell you I am now feeling stronger every day, walking my dog again, and starting an exercise program. As a squashplayer, I bet you were in great shape and that should help with your recovery. Balance your walking and your resting, and breathe deeply. I'm betting you will have a good recovery and be playing squash again before you know it.

Please do keep us posted here on your progress. We are all family here.

Cheers,

Bob

Ok,
Let us know how the surgery went! I'm betting you're almost well enough to post or have someone post for you!

if you're not home, you will be in a minute or two. Please let us hear how it all went.

My computer's been down - plain out crashed - so I just found this.

Blessins.......
