The coldest I see via Google is +28F, perfect weather for a bunny hug. Charleston is having winds of 10 miles/per.hr with misty rain, temp +30F. That stuff shouldn't stick around long.

I'll take this kind of weather any day, it's only +8F with light snow.

Snow is gone and the sleet is really coming down ... we have done all we can in the event of a power outage ... keeping our fingers crossed that does not happen ....

I'll join Nelson in commenting that "6 inches" is baby stuff.....;) ;)
Of course my area of Ontario is not having any real winter nastiness yet, we got 1 inch of powder last night and have been
having very comfortable temps. Hubby hasn't even run the snowblower yet.
Hopefully the south won't get any more ice and sleet, cuz that is dangerous stuff.
And my condolences to Freddie for living on the God forsaken Prairies.

Tom, If I ever get down there, I'm coming over for breakfast! Stay safe Ice is really treacherous no matter where you are.

Temperature has dropped to 30 degrees here and we now have freezing rain, which may continue through the night, the weatherman says. I'd much rather have the snow that The Chimp is romping around in. :(

A new snowstorm predicted for Boston this Wednesday. I will be sitting naked in a hot tub during this snowstorm. I am ready !!!! Bring it on !!!!:biggrin2::biggrin2: Everyone please be safe and warm... !!!!

Just ventured out ... going stir crazy:cool2: ... roads somewhat ok but if we get a hard freeze tonight it will be bad on the secondary roads and my Château In The Ghetto is pretty far off the beaten path ... schools closed today and I suspect tomorrow too....

DW made a pound cake a few days ago out of what was left of the eggnog .... YUMMMMM:biggrin2:

No SB, no Cooker and no Wise.
Wonder if the power really did go out?
Hope they have extra blankets, it could be a chilly night for them.

We have power:thumbup: ... back to work today ... they are saying don't go out if you don't have to but I have to today ... just really thankful we did not lose power:smile2:

It's snowing pretty hard here right now. We're only supposed to get 2-4 inches. I'm thinking they may have underestimated. Hope not.

You South Carolinian boys ever heard of a snowblower ? :biggrin2:It's a big toy for big boys. :biggrin2:Supposed to get hit with 14 -17 inches tonight. I am ready. Keep warm and safe everyone. Happy Snowday.

Average annual snowfall here on SC coast: less than one inch (2.5 cm). Many years the total is 0 (zero).

Doubt any hardware stores here even carry snowblowers. Not enough market. Mostly buy fertilizer for tropical plants and fire-ant killer there.

Enjoy your big snow and that big toy. Stay safe!
