The pain has spread and now I wonder if they were right about the plueracy. I'll find out Tuesday if I have any infections. I can't wait until I stop having surgery related problems sending me to the ER. Does it ever end?

I ended up back in the ER with chills and severe pain when breathing. It could be plueracy or chest wall inflammation. My heart was also at 120 bpm. I will find out tomorrow if IRS bacteria but my WBC was good so the think it is unlikely. I hope this will end. I'm sick of feeling like a patient.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Michelle. You are past due for some good luck. I'm glad you keep pushing the doctors and going to ER when necessary. You have to squeak to get help.

Michelle,

I just saw this thread and as I was reading, I was thinking pleuresy. I got it about a month after surgery and it still flares up from time to time. Not much can be done for it except pain meds.

Sorry you're going through another complication.

Yes, pluericy is one of my possible diagnosis. Pluericy, costochondritis, chest wall inflammation, or a pinched nerve. What I find strange about it is that the pain moves. It started in my rib under my left breast, then moved to left clavicle, now my right clavicle. What disturbs me is that My heart is going pretty fast too. Maybe it's the pain, maybe it's the meds. I don't know I'm trying to study for my exam this weekend and these drugs make me fall asleep after reading one sentence but if I don't that them the pain is unbearable. I can't believe how many complications I've had from this surgery. I thought it was over. I'm really exhausted from all of this.
