Soilman,
I wanted to start a "best wishes and we know you will do well" thread for your surgery Tuesday. From your posts, we know that you're in good physical health, and you have a positive outlook regarding your replacement; therefore you meet the criteria for a successful surgery and an uncomplicated recovery!:)
Please post, or ask someone to post for you, when you get an opportunity. We worry until we get an update!
Godspeed,
Mary

Thanks guys,

I really appreciate the thoughts and prayers. I've already gotten someone who will post my progress until I can do it myself. I can't remember his full user name, (Bob something) but he's a fellow vr.com alumni of a few months ago.

Good luck Soilman. By next weekend you'll be back at your place going stir crazy. I'm an ex geologist myself. I think all those years wandering the desert aimlessly really built up a strong heart. I'm now 10 days post op, walking 3-4 miles per day and getting restless.

Sending good vibes and best thoughts and prayers to you, Soilman. My wife's folks are from down that part of Tar Heel land (Louisburg)...Fully expecting you to do well and look forward to hearing the good reports.

GOOD LUCK!

Thoughts/prayers coming your way for a SUCCESSFUL surgery :).

Update on Soilman's Big Day

Update on Soilman's Big Day

Hi All,
Bob somebody here, who also made it to the other side back in March.
I spoke with Mrs. Soilman today following surgery, and I am happy to report his surgery went well, with no surprises. He now is the proud owner of an on-X valve. All done but the healing!! I will keep you posted until he is home and ready to take over.
Bob

Wow--that was fast! Well done, and here's hoping for an uneventful recovery. :)

Best, Sona
