I meet a lady on a forum for adults with congenital heart disease who also has Ebstein's Anomaly. It was funny, because it turned out she only lives about 15-20 minutes from our cabin (which is literally out in the middle of nowhere). We had always talked about trying to get together to meet for coffee sometime when I was up there. I just got an e-mail from her saying she unfortunately is headed back to the Mayo for surgery #3. In addition to her EA, she also had a bi-cuspid aortic valve. She has now developed some sort of blockage on or near that valve. They are going to go in and remove the blockage and replace the valve again. She is going to be there the same time I am for my ablation. So, we will finally get to meet, thousands of miles away from our homes.

She has asked for anyone willing to pray for her an put her on their prayer lists. I think she is going to need them.

Kim,
I will be praying for both you ladies. I hope your procedures are both truly successful and you can resume living your lives to the fullest. God Bless You Both.:)
Same here - prayers going for you both.

Wow, small world indeed. Please make sure to let this lady know that she'll be in my prayers as well for a successful outcome on her surgery.

And of course my friend, you know that you're my prayers already & just waiting around for 9/11 with you!

Wow think it's great you met and your alredy in my prayers and now both of you are:)

Definitely one of those unique/odd parts of life. Very cool that you'll finally be able to meet!

Thoughts/prayers to BOTH of you.....

My friend, her name is Joyce, is already up at the Mayo clinic. Dr. Dearani is going to take out her one year old mechanical aortic valve on Wednesday and replace it, and cut away whatever the "mass" is that is sitting in her left ventricle below the valve. They know that it is not a blood clot, and are thinking that it is some sort of scar tissue. This will make surgery #3 for her and she is understandably nervous. Please keep her in your thoughts this week.
