Dave,

I'd like to wish you the best as you prepare for your AVR on Tuesday. I know that it will go well, and you will be the life of the party by the time the February reunion takes place in your home state.
Please keep us updated; we worry when we don't receive post-surgery updates!
Mary

Thank you! I'm very relaxed, and as a matter of fact I made reservations at my favorite restaurant. I plan on having a meal fit for a king tonight! :)

Thanks again and hopefully I will be able to put together a helpful article for people going through this.

Wishing you the best, David- I know with your attitude you will sail through this and we look forward to hearing from you on the other side.

David,

Best wishes for a successful surgery and an uneventful recovery. We will be rooting for you.

Stay strong!!

You'll be on this side in no time! Give Dr. Beaver my regards!

Good luck with this, but know you will be great in just a few days.

John

Dave,

Good luck. You'll breeze right through. I 'm 5 days post op my self and I'm blown away at at good I feel. The support from friends and family is a big bonus, Hospital was fantastic.

Hello from Shands! Wireless internet in patient rooms is a great thing!!!!!

Thanks to all for the well wishes and thoughts/prayers! I am feeling GREAT and I have been told I can go home today after a meeting with the doctors! Those of you who are having surgery soon needn't be worried. Sure it's not all daisies and sunshine, but if you have a positive mindset you will be home before you know it

Wow, that's great, David. It sounds like everything went really well. Now you can continue on to a smooth recovery.

Congratulations on smooth sailing and a patient room with wireless internet! :D Sounds like a great hospital--but there's no place like home. Glad you'll be back in your own castle so soon~ :)

Bad news... Something is wrong with the valve. Yesterday's echo shows some problems which is strange because the TEE they performed just following surgery had them all thrilled with the results. I'll post more details as I receive them. I have been told to be ready for another TEE tomorrow morning or possible surgery tomorrow night. I'll be having an ON-X valve put in if it comes down to surgery.

Sigh... I'll talk to you all later

Oh Dave, I am so sorry, at least they caught it before they sent you home, so THAT is good. I will keep you in my prayers, Lyn

Arg...David ... very sorry for the "bump in the road" for you as well....

Thoughts/prayers coming your way, of course.

David, I hope your problem has one away! Like Wayne says, if there is a problem, better to catch it there than at home!

Let us know what is going on. I'll pray for you.

John
