Hello Betty,
Sorry to hear about your injury. It's NO FUN, especially for those of us on Coumadin. It took 5 or 6 weeks for all the bruising / bleedout / swelling / 'coloring' to mostly disappear following my severe shin bruise. Even my toes turned 2 shades of purple!
Hope your shoulder returns to normal function in due time. All the rest is just 'life on Coumadin'.
