I was diagnosed 7 years ago with Aortic Regurgitation, since then I have been monitored on a regular basis, at my recent visit to the Cardiologist she arranged for me to have a Trans Echo which showed that it was now time for surgery I have since had an Angiogram and I cant really remember what the Dr said as I had been given a drug to relax me, but he said he would be sending the report to my Surgeon Mr Paul Waterworth (UK) has anyone else on here been under him? my appointment has come through for Thursday 1st August and I must admit that after so long in the "waiting room" I thought I had accepted that I would need surgery but now it is looming closer I am a little scared. I have followed several people on the forum who have been in the waiting room and have reached the other side and I am filled with hope and optimism at their outcomes. It is good to have somewhere to express hopes and fears.
