Had my first AVR due to stenosis 4 years ago. Two years into that I got endocarditis. It caused damage to the replacement valve etc and the used a Homograph cadaver valve and root to repair the damage. But here I am still kickin' Our Heart Doctors and staffs are just incredible people! I can't enough about their care and extraordinary talent! Thank you Medical teams!

Congratulations Chuck. Here's to your good health! I can not believe how wonderful I feel. My 2 week anniversary is tommorrow. Today was my fourth full day at home post-op.:angel:
