Hi Jan and Bill,

Thanks for remembering my 2nd anniversary! I was just lurking through the site and saw your message.

I haven't been very active on the board for the past 6 months or so, as you know, but I do check in occassionally to see what my old friends are up to.

I'm doing fine and really enjoying life. Mary and I have been traveling quite a bit. We were in Mazatlan, Mexico again this year for two weeks, we're going to Daytona Beach, Florida in mid-March, then to Santa Fe in June. After that we have a week booked in Atlantic City in early August. It's great to be retired (and to have a lot of time-share weeks available).

The big news is that we are going to be grand-parents for the first time. My son and daughter-in-law in Vermont are expecting their first child in May. Obviously, we're thrilled. I guess we'll be spending a lot of time up there too.

I go back to see my cardiologist next week to have a routine echo done. The aortic valve that was replaced is doing fine, but I also have mild to moderate mitral valve leakage, which they are watching. Hopefully, they will never have to do anything about it. My only regret is that they didn't repair that while they had be on the table two years ago.

How are you and Bill doing? Do you have any trips planned that will bring you back to the States?

I'll close with a big "Hi!" to all who remember me. Keep in touch.

Ron K

Congradulations--a milestone:)

I'm glad to hear your enjoying your retirement. Sounds like great fun.
I used to have relatives in Vermont. We visited a number of times. They were just across the N.H. border, but further north than us. They lived in a little town, that I used to say sonded like Vermont---Perkinsville:D
Keep smilin Ron K

Congratulations on both counts, Ron! It's good to see that smile again - had wondered what you were up to. Keep up the fun with life!
