So sorry to read this Vicki. This is not an uncommon occurance. Worrisome and disturbing for people going through it, but many members have had this problem. I'll keep Scott in my prayers.

I will keep Scott in my prayers..for a short hospital stay..and back home soon. Bonnie

I hope they get this resolved soon, and he is able to return home and continue on the road to recovery.:)

So sorry to hear that Vicki.

These post op bumps in the recovery road are no fun. Scott will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Take care,
Ruth

Thanks for the update; hope the doctors fix this right away. Don't neglect your own need for rest, Mom-QV.

Sorry to hear about Scott. It brings back memories as I too had to return to the hospital for 5 days due to fluid (pericardial taponade). Best wishes to Scott.

Sorry to hear Scott ended up back at the hospital. Will be waiting to hear how he is.

Like others have said, the problems that Scott has bumped into are not uncommon post-op.

My husband has run into a few such "speed bumps" since his discharge last week. Even when you know such problems are possible, it's still frustrating and sometimes frightening when they do happen.

Scott still in , Thurs Afternoon

Hi I just got an email a little while ago from Vicki (QV) here is most of it

Hello again. Scott is not coming home yet. We have gone from one problem to the next. His hemocrit blood levels were a low 22 and he has had 2 transfusions today. The fever he had yesterday -the blood work hasnt come back as yet- still no fever presents. He is very depressed and I too am so overwhelmed. We can't catch a break Lyn. It's holiday weekend and you know there are no Dr.'s around. They still have not found the source of his anemia-maybe the blood transfusions will help. Strangely, he doesn't feel bad. He may have a CAT scan tomo to see if that reveals something. We are both exhausted and upset but there is little we can do except wait and see what unfolds.

Spoke to the Dr- he said his aneurysm was at 8.9. He is lucky it was caught before it ruptured.
OK I hope Justins get through his surgery a lot smoother than this has gone for us here.
Trying to stay positive but "things" just keep cropping up.
Best,
Vicki
P.S. I can't post on the site maybe you can update everyone for me????
