ROUGH DAY TODAY! (for moms)

My little grandson has only been able to attend 4 days of his K class so far. He developed a respiratory problem with extreme coughing spells. He was diagnosed with asthma several weeks ago but this time they were ruling out whooping cough even though he has never missed a vaccination. It took days but tests are negative so back to school he goes. He really missed it already. How quickly they adapt!

Your poor little grandson. I hope he is feeling better soon. Glad that his tests came back negative.

I think it is wonderful that you get to assist at the same school. You get to stay in touch with all that is happening and get little glimpses of them....sort of like being that fly on the wall. Keep it up. You sound like a great mom.

I really love being a teacher assistant. I go in on days they have meetings and take over the class while the teacher is at the meeting. So I get to be the teacher for a couple of hours. I was pretty scared the first time I did it. This will be my third year of doing it. This year my nine year old is in the one class I work in. He was also in my class the first year I did it so it made it a little easier since I knew one student. I work with two teachers and they are the same teachers each year which makes it really nice.

Also thanks for saying I sound like a great mom. I really try to be involved with what is going with my boys. They mean the world to me!
