Hey Rain,
This is just my Ideal. I think it would be great if all of us from all the country could just bring a little something to represent where we are from. We use to do this in in a ccorvette cub conventenion we went to when we were young. We have special candy factiory in our little town and Jack danels Dist. & JIm Bean too. I sure I could find sometime to bring. Not to mention Louisville SLuggler co. Whicky favorite coffee not my faviorte thing. I just thought this would make a nice goodie bag from everyone. And not leave it up to a couple people to do all the work. Just A thought.
We would have aa total number off people. Rather for the just vr.com member.I guess if you i ncluded everyone it could get costly. Any other input on this matter.

Hey Sherrin,

I think that is a really cool idea!! What if we only bring one really cool gift, then play a game to determine who gets what gift? When my Mom was alive, on Christmas Eve we would always go to her house with a Christmas Ornament. (Or sometimes we?d take gifts) We played this little game where you got to choose your ornament. This is how you do it...

All the gifts would be wrapped with only a number on them... in this case maybe we would put the state the gift is from. (There?s lots of things you can do differently) As people arrive they are also given a number. When you?re ready to play, the person gets the gift with his or her number on it. The guy with #1 then gets to decide if he would like to keep his gift or exchange it with someone else. (The other guy has to exchange if asked to) You keep doing this until you get all the way to the last number. Yeah, you?re the lucky dog if you have the last number. Some people like to open the gifts first ... others like to keep them wrapped. It?s really a lot of fun!! And a lot less expensive than trying to buy something for everyone.

How about the rest of you?? Is this something everyone would like to do?

I love it! I beleive the name of that game it "greed" It's fun! If you so decide...you wanna set your gift limit. $15 not to exceed $20 usually works. It's really difficult to find anything useful in the $5-$10 range. Been there done that

for schools. We would have a them basket rather it is state or college or itiems we could auction them of to raise money for VR.com . People from the same state could donate items your that state. I would like some input.

I think that?s a great idea! Would you like to start the poll? Or would you like me to? We?re wide open to all ideas for fun and raising money.

I?m from a very big family.... we have annual ?friends & family? reunions. (Everyone seemed to think my Mom was their Mom too...) People come from all over the US to them. The camping sights, etc are paid for from an auction we do every year. Everyone brings something.... we have everything from beautiful quilts our great, great grandmother?s made to things as simple as framed photos of our ancestors. It?s really quite cool and fun. ... and helps pay the costs of the reunion. We?re gonna have to recruit an auctioneer........ I nominate Jim L.

I think I can say..it's looks like no reunion for me this year.I'm not sad..but daughter's adoption is going very quickly...2 children from Russia..We are looking at between Oct-Dec..for arrival back to America. 1/2 paperwork completed..Videos from Russia will be coming in..choosing, ect..going for a first visit and then back to bring them home. I will let you know what sex, age, ect. as soon as we hear.... I would like to make up a box of goodies from Georgia. Surprises in it..to be bid off...Will let you know starting bid... Like a shirt with G.R.I.T.S. on it..Girls raised in the South..Pecans, ect....I would need an address to mail it to..Maybe to you, Rain. Bonnie

I'll let you do the poll. Since I,m not sue how to do it. I just hope I can get all my problems taken care of so I can be there. With my injection being 15% I am not sure rather they will let me come to Denver. WHen my Daughter lived there before my second surgery they wouldn't let me some to Denver. But since we will be driving instead of flying that make a different. I look to be on oxygen real soon. I have been up half the night not being able to breath without coughing my head off.the C-pap doesn't seem to be helping.I try laying on three pillows but that didn't help either. See one more Dr. next week to see if they can find out what going on.
