I was late!

I was late!

Sorry I wasn't there on time. Didn't log on until 7:45 and by then, there was no one there.

I will try next week. :(

Go to the homepage (click on the yellow ValveReplacement at the top of this page), click on Chat, click on Chat, type your name for where it says name, press return, start chatting.

I was on for about an hour, just a few of us, but a very nice chat. Gerry, a new member, faces surgery June 9th. I'm sorry I missed chatting with Barbara, another new member (who hasn't posted yet?), who has surgery on June 10th.

It was BBQ time for us here also. See ya all next week!

I have to miss the chat...

I have to miss the chat...

I checked several times yesterday for chat but didn't find anyone there when I checked. Sorry I missed some of you!
I am sorry but I also will have to miss the chat this coming Sunday. I am going to a brunch at 12:30 and after that is over I have a council meeting to attend at 3PM, with more food. Won't be home until about 5 or 6PM, (MT)

I'll see you all the following week. Take care!

Unfortunately, I've been missing 'em all these past few weeks...getting too busy with summer-type activities....

Hmmm....any chance we could "plan" (yeah, I know...LOL) for others during the weeknights......? Guess I'm thinking that we don't need to just limit the use of the chatroom to just one day/night of the week, eh? Just a thought or 2....

Exactly what I've been saying!

Exactly what I've been saying!

Why limit the chat's to Sunday afternoons. It seems like we always end up gone somewhere over that time. I think we should try to figure when people are likely to be online, and try to catch each other that way. I'm here online most evenings anyway.

Chat

I think the chat time was arranged for Sunday afternoon
so that we who live in the UK could take part, as we are 5/6 hours ahead of the US,

Billy suggested that we just check the chat room each hour on the hour and maybe we will manage to hook up with someone for a chat,

If any one has any ideas please post them so that we all know what is happening.

I reallt enjoy the chat sessions, but then when it is 5 pm in the US it is 10/11pm here, I do not work so I can stay up late, but others who work would find it difficult if the Sunday Chat was any later US time

I don't have any preferences. We can have em 24 hours a day for that matter. Y'all come up with what you want and we'll do it.

I don't know how to get on to chat.

I don't know how to get on to chat.

I have a few more boxes to unpack and a few more pictures to hang and then I'm going to have to figure out how to get on to chat. It can't be that hard to do can it? I probably just haven't made it a priority yet. This is such an absolutely wonderful site and you guys are such wonderful people that it would be nice to chat with you...........................Betty(bvdr)

Hmm...sometimes the best chats are "unscheduled". I know on one of my MC boards, we just simply check the chat room when we are online when we can. If people are in there to chat...we do :). Just some more food for thought....

Last night's 'chat'

Last night's 'chat'

Real good 'chat' session last night......Bonnie, Jan, Gina, Janie, Rachel, Jean, JimL, etc.......Oh and myself, sorry if I've left anybody out. Hard to remember with folks coming and going but there was a lotta conversation about a wide variety of subjects.

I got thrown off by aol at one stage so I used the opportunity to give Ann (Hensylee) a quick call. She was resting, but talked to me for about ten minutes and sounded wonderful. She is having some problems walking but otherwise seems to be coming along very well.

It was so good to hear her voice and she even managed to understand my Northern Ireland accent...smart girl.

Soooooooo, lets keep the prayers going and she'll be back to her old self in no time. I'm sure we all agree that VR.com just wasn't the same while she was gone...........What a Lady.

Last night's chat was one of the best! It was good to see Billy there again with his Guinness, and especially good to get acquainted with Rachel, a new member probably facing surgery soon, who hasn't registered yet. I think we topped out at 8 or 9 on the session at once, with more coming and going. Add to Billy's list at least Ross, Scottie, and Carbo (High) medic.

I missed it again!

I missed it again!

Darn!

Hubby worked yesterday so we had a late dinner, by the time I finished the dishes I went in my office to get onto the chat and he was on the computer. Being the good wife I didn't want to kick him off, and by the time he finished it was nearly 8:00 PM.

I will try again next week.

You're right JimL......

You're right JimL......

.......I left three out. Well, Ross was obviously on early before I signed in and then Scottie just went off to have a bath as I was signing in and Carbo was around too.

Apologies for leaving these folks out.....maybe the pumphead problem is contagious.
