Hello, its been a while... I know. mom is doing really well at montrose bay. She has no choice but to do as she should now ( they had to take her rootbeer away) and sends her love. she has an email, as well as yahoo ID if anyone would like to chat with her on yahoo messenger. Now to my many questions, Ill try to put into one...
Help me interpret my 13 yr old sons ecg. in 2008 he was DX with "an arrythmia".
He plays football and had an episode where he was sent to the ER from school.

Tell me plz what you think.

QRS dur: 109 QT/QTc: 402/394
PRT axis: 128 73 116

sinus bradycardia with sinus arrhythmia
RSR (QR) in V1/V2 consistent with right ventricular conduction delay
Moderate ST depression.


He is 13 YR old
173 pounds 5ft 7 in.


Keep in mind, I have had 2 abilations for WPW and moms (YAPS) numerous heart problems too. Thanks again!!

I don't know anything about interpreting your son's results, but I wonder if you've googled the various terms used?

I'll tell you what a few of these things that I know stand for so you can google them: The pr int is the pr interval, the QRS dur is the QRS duration, the QT/QTc is the QT interval/QTcorrected interval (the difference is what the QT int actually is vs. once it has been corrected for the heart rate. I think the right ventricular conduction delay is a right bundle branch block.

I'd call his Dr. and ask him what each of these things mean in regards to your son. Since heart problems and especially WPW run in your family, it's important to know if any of his rhythm issues are something you need to be watchful of.
