Thank you again for your warm welcome. These last few weeks have been a whirlwind. I was diagnosed on the east coast 3 weeks ago where I grew up and am having my surgery at Stanford Hospital where I live now.
My surgeon recommended a cardiologist who I am meeting next week. My surgery date is 12/8 with a possibility of 11/10.
The appointment will be another echo and then a consult. Are there any questions I should make sure I ask him?
The surgeon and this site certainly have covered the actual surgerical concerns.
