ice and surgery

I did get my operative report from the hospital and I was cooled down according to this. I remember waking up with really hot blankets that I was trying to take off. It is pretty remarkeable when you think about what they can do. After 10 mos. I still have some moments where I can't remember something. It is very frustrating. I thought I had mailed a check last week and I did but with only a partial address on it. It is still hard to sit and read for a long time. I am so glad that it hasn't affected work too much. I hope it doesn't get worse or my husband will be paying the bills. Thankfully, I don't remember much. When I went to the OR they said that they were putting in IVS and had 2 working on one arm. That is all I remember until I woke up in ICU when my family came in. Can't remember half of that either. My husband and our family said the day was a big blur for all of them. I was probably in better shape emotionally then they were.
