Kim, I shall keep you in my thoughts. Wishing you a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Just remember to walk as much as possible, keep that heart pillow near you at all times, and use the spirometer to help your lungs to fully recover.

2 days post op...feeling good right so I thought I would update from the other side. Turns out I actually had a Unacusp aortic valve but that was pretty much the only surprise from the surgery. Managing the pain pretty well - the stiffness in back and neck is worst than the chest. Went for 3 walks and found them to feel good but be exhausting. Hope to make it home before the week is out. Thanks to all of your support in the weeks leading up.
