Just an update on Jordan. He got out of surgery this morning at 1AM. Within two hours he was back in surgery to remove a blood clot that had developed. He is now in ICU and is in critical condition. The surgeon said he thinks he got all the tumor. Until Jordan comes out of the anesthetic, they won't know if there are any problems associated with the surgery itself. My husband Steve couldn't bring himself to ask his aunt (Jordan's grandmother) if the tumor was benign and she didn't say. The doctors thought that it was before the surgery but they still sent it to pathology. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. This has been a shock to all the family. Jordan fell and hit his head the last day at school and was taken to the hospital. They did a CT scan checking for a skull fracture and that's how they found the brain tumor. I'm asking you to please continue your prayers as this situation is very serious. Thank you all again so much. LINDA

Linda, just read this posting and will be keeping Jordon in my prayers. Laura B.

Steve (my husband) talked with his aunt this morning. They are keeping Jordan in a drug induced coma to keep his brain from having to do too much work. I so appreciate you all here. It's wonderful to have all the prayers and good wishes going up for Jordan and we have told our aunt to tell Steve's cousin that our family here on VR.com is praying. Thank you so much. LINDA

Ahhh..prayers are with you and your family. A friend of mine's son just went through this and he is doing great. Keep us posted.

Ohg!

I am so sorry. I will certainly add Jordan to my prayers. What a blessing that he fell and hit his head or they might not have found it this early. Prayers that it is benign and for a smooth recovery. Many hugs. Do keep us posted. J.
