To those who missed her thread, Norma is travelling to Houston this Sunday the 9th to meet and consult with her great surgeon and cardiologist about her fourth open-heart surgery.

Dear Norma, this is a very tough time for you and my heart is aching to see you going through this, yet, I am sure your strong will and good faith will pull you out and safe. I also want to take this time to wish everyone else on this forum who is facing OHS (open heart surgery) soon, a positive and speedy recovery for a healthier and brighter future ahead!

I realize too, that the surgeons who work on us, whether you're a first timer or multi-timer, learn from each of our surgeries. And what they pick up and learn will only make the road a bit easier for those of you who will follow. So in a sense, you're not only helping yourself by having your heart repaired, you're helping others as well!
