Post op 9 days

I had my aortic heart valve surgery on October 9,2018. Surgery was at 7:30 AM. Had to be at Gates Vascular hospital at 5:30AM. Surgery was on time
My surgeon was Dr. Gary Grosner, he did 6 inches stemotomy on me. I was in surgery for two hours.
My family saw me, and they sent them home. I woke up at 7 PM with the breathing tube in ICU.
I was in ICU for 2 ½ days, then down to recovery room. I was then released from the hospital on Saturday, 10/13/18.
I am now home recovery.
My new aortic valve is Edward Intuity Elite valve.
I thank you all for your help in getting me to the other side

Marie, welcome to the other side. Although the healing will take some time the toughest part, IMO is the waiting. Wish you well in your healing.
