Welcome to the site. If I am reading your message right, then you have a mechanical heart valve, and are getting or have already purchased a home testing unit for your INR?

Hi Linda-

Glad you found this site. You're an oldtimer valve replacement person like my husband. He's had his aortic valve for 25 years now. Also has a mitral which is a mere 2 years.

You'll have lots of good input which will help us all, and we hope we can offer you some friendship and help if that's needed also.
