Hi ,I know lots of "kids',well babies, young children and adults, from my groups and care pages and rarely ask people to leave a message ect, but I'd like to make this family's day a little brighter, if you could leave him a message.
John is 26, he was born w/CHD (actually his heart was alot like justin's) and really had to fight and the doctors tried new things, so he had a chance. He was doing really well until last year when he needed another surgery,which didn't go well, he spent the next few months at CHOP waiting for a new heart.
(I originally was given his page to pray for, then met his Mother when Justin was at CHOP a couple weeks ago.)
He got his heart in Feb, but still has many, many problems, and for the most part has no movement, hardly can speak, ect but is very aware and fights hard to get home to his farm, (with his parents) He has been at CHOP for 9 months now. In the last month, they were able to get him in a wheelchair to see the outside thru a window a couple times AND with much work from the staff (It takes 6 people just to get him in a wheelchair)and Donna and John, actually got him outside to feel the sunshine the last week or so.(there are pics in his page)
His Mom stayed w/him for the most part 24/7 but about 1 month ago had to go back to work, so John could keep her insurance,so he is alone during the week and she spends the weekends with him (they live a couple hours away from Philly)
John has a carepage www.carepages.com then the page name is JohnHBurns Donna (Mom) reads all the messages people leave and where they are from,toJohn, and the messages cheer him up. Donna has given permission to share his page, the more prayers and good thoughts, the better.
Tomorrow is John's 26th Birthday, I was wonderring if you guys could please leave a message in John's guestbook (and where you live),I think it would be great for both John and Donna.
