Picking Doctors for Aortic Valve Replacement

I'm planning to get a second opinion for aortic valve replacement and looking for recommendations for a cardiologist at Shands in Gainesville. Dr. Beavers has been recommended for surgery. I'd appreciate anyone's experiences there and physician recommendations.

On the cardiology side, I was a patient of Dr Hill's for several years, and he was excellent. He was great about listening and discussing my condition in light of my lifestyle expectations (around exercise, basically). He was really knowledgeable about best practices in cardiology and might be a useful sounding board for you. All the best.
