Well for some months now, I have had irregular heart beats all the time. Thankfully, it doesn't affect me during the day, but at night, oh man, the irregularity and the clicking, it's driving me mad and keeping me awake. My cardio has said there's not much to be done, especially if it isn't really bothering me. I have mostly PACs, some PVCs and also some a-fib, too. Since I'm already on warfarin and that's what they give for a- fib, I'm okay for now. Hopefully, it will resolve, but I'm not counting on it. He tried me on another med and also magnesium, but neither worked.
I'm just a bit upset, because my heart was doing so well, feeling just like normal, for almost a yr after my 3rd surgery.
Oh well, I will get used to these new sounds, too, I suppose.

I posted a similar thread recently. I am on Sotalol for a-fib but have a PVC every third beat. At night they are a real pain and wake me up. When I was on coreg I had just a couple pvcs a day and I was only taking 12.5 mg 2x a day. I'm trying to get back on it but I have low blood pressure so I'm not sure if my cardio will allow it, I'm still waiting for him to call me.

I'm sorry to read this, Gail, and am another one going through PVC struggles.

Here's a link I found when I was looking for possible causes of excessive PVCs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premature_ventricular_contraction

Personally, I've found that if I drink a large glass of water before bedtime that I feel less bothered with them. Best wishes :)
