I can never stop thinking of Iraq as a mother/stepmother of three in the Army, one who was there a year ago, one who is there now and one who has returned from Afghanistan.
It is a constant fear in ones life, waiting for return of one and scared another may go back there again!
I belonged to a group "Mother's Against the War" but my son made me take it off my web page while he was in Iraq. Now, I'm just a quiet mother.
I will add your brother, and his platoon and their families to my prayers. Its tough when you know what they are doing and in dangerous, high risk missions. Although, I don't think anyone is safe there.
Keep busy and keep your thoughts on happier things and I watch minimal news reports and have heart attacks whenever I heard bad news from Iraq.
Thinking of you through this difficult time. Keep us in touch of how you all are doing. My heart goes out to you.
