I did 6 years in the Army but never had to go into a combat situation fortunately. I give your brother major cudos for making the choices he has made, what he is doing is of great service to everyone of us. Im sure the prayers and good thoughts coming off this website are finding their way to him, we all want to have his back for him.

Aaron ~ I'd just like to add my best wishes and prayers for your brother and his fellow soldiers. May God be with them all. Dawn-Marie

Aaron, You and Yours Have My Prayers and Thoughts

Aaron, You and Yours Have My Prayers and Thoughts

War is such a travesty especially since it is sooooo unnecessary if we all just got along and worked together in peace. Not only does your brother need our prayers and support, but also all the veterans who have served before him...no matter what war, time or place, living or those who had to leave us... they all need our thanks, our prayers and our gratitude. They all have my prayers and thoughts and thanks. Your brother and everyone else stay safe and come home to us unharmed and at peace. Harrybaby

I can never stop thinking of Iraq as a mother/stepmother of three in the Army, one who was there a year ago, one who is there now and one who has returned from Afghanistan.

It is a constant fear in ones life, waiting for return of one and scared another may go back there again!

I belonged to a group "Mother's Against the War" but my son made me take it off my web page while he was in Iraq. Now, I'm just a quiet mother.

I will add your brother, and his platoon and their families to my prayers. Its tough when you know what they are doing and in dangerous, high risk missions. Although, I don't think anyone is safe there.

Keep busy and keep your thoughts on happier things and I watch minimal news reports and have heart attacks whenever I heard bad news from Iraq.

Thinking of you through this difficult time. Keep us in touch of how you all are doing. My heart goes out to you.
