Thank you Melissa for the info on the Dr. I will have to check into that when I get to a point where I feel is a good time to do it. I'm considering it more seriously after hearing from all of you who have had them removed and are so glad you did! I'm interested in your experience with your scar being keloid Melissa. I had the same thing happen, have had shots twice now, but I have never heard of radiation to keep it from happening. If you wouldn't mind sending me another PM explaining more what you went through, that would be great!
Also on the insurance info....that makes sense Lisa, my insurance paid for the shots because of the pain not for cosmetic reasons. I just switched to a new insurance company through work, but I bet they would pay for it.
Now just to find the time to take off work and go through yet another surgery
