I am now the ownwer of a St Jude AV. Surgery occurred on the 3rd of December, but they had to open me back up due to internal bleeding on Tuesday. Hopefully there are no more surprises. I am now on the step down floor and now they have started working on the Warfarin amount I will need Thank you all for your support

Congratulations!- sorry for the setback of a re-open, but hopefully you are now on the way to a complete and uneventful recovery and can get out of there quickly and enjoy the holidays!

Sorry about the "bump in the road", but glad to see you posting again!

Thoughts/prayers coming your way for a SUCCESSFUL recovery :).

Well I'm impressed

Well I'm impressed

Congratulations on getting through the operations, and i am impressed that you could get back to the web so fast. it took me weeks. But then I was distracted by having to pay attention to what I was doing;) Not my usual way of life.

Hope everything goes smoothly from here.

I can't imagine the roller coaster of emotions that you and your family have experienced since prior to your first surgery. Hopefully, all of this is behind you and healing is just ahead of you! There is light at the end of the tunnel! I trust you will have an easy recovery. You truly deserve the best..........

We were getting worried because we knew your surgery was Dec. 3rd. and we didn't see any posts. So happy to hear you are on the other side of the mountain, but sorry to learn of your latest "bump in the road". I envy your positive attitude, it has served you well through all this.....

Hopefully all the bumps are now behind you and you can take your time to recover, and enjoy your new life with the SJ aortic valve....Take care and stay in touch....

Let us know if you or your wife need anything.....We are just an hour away.....

It's good to hear from you, but I'm sorry to learn that you've had complications.
Hopefully they will get your level stabilized, and you will be outta there soon!:)
