operation gone wrong

hi i am a new member i am from the uk and i am 31, i had my mitral valve repaired 9 weeks ago. due to it leaking, and i have just been told by my consultant that he's not happy with how the operation has gone and thinks after scaning my heart that the valve has been done to tight. which is now restricting the blood flow. is there any one who has needed surgery because of the valve restricting the blood flow rarther than it leaking if so it would be great to hear how it made you feal and what the probles this cause's. so far i have just been told that it's putting pressure on my heart. any more information would be greatfully received thanks stephanie

Welcome to this forum! I'm sorry you are having problems post operatively. I'm sure you were expecting a smoother sailing.

Am I understanding correctly that you had a mitral repair and now as a result you have developed mitral stenosis?

What remedy is your doctor suggesting to you? How do you feel?
