It will be one year tomorrow that I went in for my meet and greet at the hospital, and on Wednesday it will be one year since the surgery. It has been an interesting year to say the least. I had one trip to the hospital in the first week i was home due to a high beats per minute, two TIA's in June due to improper warfarin management, and a few ups and downs at work but everything seems to be on track now. I am sitting at a steady 3.0 for my INR and I am getting my wind back with walking and hiking once more. I do get a bit of bruising and some nose bleeds but nothing that cannot be managed easily.
I will be working this year to put the company on a firm footing, and will be moving away from the daily management this fall. I am moving to Vancouver this fall (next spring latest) and will be spending 25 days there and 5 days in Cranbrook making sure the business is moving the way it needs. I will be starting to use a personal trainer in the next few months to get me on track for my mountain climbing and will be spending much more time in the back country. I have also started a blog to record my adventures.

Two of the things I will be doing in Vancouver when I get there are to take a 10 month photography course and some creative writing courses to help with my hobby of traveling and photography. I will also be spending more time on my motorcycle.
So all in all, life is good and moving forward to the next thing.
