Sore throat and aching lungs can also be from not smoking and the dry cough you probally have . Bowels took a week or two and if your having issues take something . Drink lots of fluids , keep moving and use your breather . Doctor told me 6 weeks for baths and pool .
Need to take it one day at a time and don't rush it. Everyday you wake up feeling a little better and before you know it you are .

Heal well

Never heard that one before. Learn something new everyday around here. :)

After surgery, the first time that you drop the kids off at the pool, it seems like every other kid in the neighborhood wants to come along and be dropped off, too. :biggrin2:

Hi everyone, I've dropped off all the kids at the pool this morning thanks to Miralax. Now I'm 3 weeks post-op and finally can see my cardiologist tomorrow. I'm really worried about a-fib since so many people seem to start around three weeks post-op so I'm being carefully to take it easy and not make my heart mad. It doesn't seem to start for anyone after 4 weeks so I'm trying to make it there. I'm still fighting with the plueral effusion though it's no longer painful. I'm taking motrin for that, hopefully keeping down the inflammation will help get rid of the fluids.
