My only comment is that my doctor told me to be careful with the sun the first year as the scar may burn easier that the rest. You can also apply some make up to minimize the look if you want to

Burning

Is that burn or tan? I am taking a diurectic. The leaflet inside the pack doesn't mention sun sensitivity in the side effects. After last summer on amiodarone I am looking forward to getting some sun this coming summer.

It's sun sensitivity - I guess that if you tan, you'll tan better; if you burn (that's me) you burn more easily. I'm also on an antibiotic for rosacea, and that also makes me more sun sensitive, so I'm pretty careful.

I don't know if all diuretics cause sun sensitivity - I've only taken lasix, and the warning's always on the label.
