Things are moving quickly! Had my yearly ECHO in June. My aborted TEE test at the end of July. My visit to the surgeon on Aug. 4th and now the surgery is scheduled for Aug. 11th (next week). I opted for the pig valve and feel comfortable with the surgeon and hospital. Thanks to everyone that has given advice to me and to everyone that has contributed to the Forum.

Bob,
I think you're lucky to get it scheduled and over with. The waiting can be awfully hard on your nerves.
If you haven't put yourself on the calendar, I will. Try to relax and enjoy this week-end.

Next Thursday, I'l be sure to think of you. We Bobs have to stick together.

The waiting is indeed the worst part. You get to sleep through the operation, and someone else is responsible for a change.

Relax this weekend, go somewhere special.

Very best wishes,

Wishing you the best, Bob. Being satisfied with the hospital, the surgeon and the valve choice makes a big difference. We look forward to all good results for you.

The waiting is for sure the hardest part, look forward to relaxing after the operation, some one else can take out the garbage for a few months.

Bob I think you have made a great choice. I had a pig's valve put in last June and have been completely happy with it. Be sure and have someone post for you after surgery. This big happy family worries about one of our own. It's true what has already been said, the waiting is the hard part. After the surgery it's all up hill so put on your walking shoes. Hugs and prayers are coming your way.

All the best Bob with your surgery and recovery may they both be uneventful. Best wishes Brad

Wishing you the best.

Wishing you the best.

Bob. Just wanted to let you know I'll be thinking of you Thursday. Best of luck to you!!
