I can't believe it. I was roaming through the posts and this image of Bill with the tubes keep flying by. So I started the search for that kind face I have grown attached to these past few weeks...

I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Quick Wendy... Tinkerbell has hidden the needle and thread in the chest of drawers. Now, when he reappears stitch his photo on real tight...

Lee begged me not to do this, but since you miss my *face*, here's a new (and quite temporary) avatar for you all.

That's a LOVELY scar, Bill. Very neat and straight! Mine is jagged and irregular in comparison. (But doesn't start quite so high up. Maybe that's a gender concession.)
I'll have to talk to my surgeon about that, when I see him on the 13th.
Hmmmmm ..... Maybe staples are a good thing after all.
[PS On the whole am glad you got rid of the one with all the tubes. Although the breathing tube was not nearly as bad as I feared I had rather not be reminded of the time I spent on it quite so graphically.]

I can handle any picture you can find of heart surgery...... but those toenail pictures are just GROSS!!!

The facial hair hasn't been seen since we returned from vacation last August! My wife really liked the whole shaved body look and is after me to keep it up

I think I look like a freshly plucked chicken, and don't want to have to shave all the time, either.

So for now, the body hair is slowly (and with much itching) returning, but no more facial hair.

But if the chest hair makes it so I can't show my scar off, I may HAVE to keep it shaved

Athough I've got a lot of body hair, I avoided (mostly) the curse of the hairy back. I think that's my wife's handtowel showing there...
