I too occassionally suffer from these type of episodes. I think my triggers are light and caffeine. I work off a laptop and I think that a general tiredness combined with stress and poor lighting might all contribute.

No pain, however just a hazy, floating experience. Unfortunately, most episodes occur while at work. I would like to take my BP once during an episode just to check.
 
William. That is a great link!! I love the artwork. The representations are so personal. I wonder if we all see things a little differently as the images here aren't as jelly-like as mine often are. Maybe my myopia is playing with me!

I think I will conclude that we are a special breed, we occular migraine sufferers -- for we are given an additional way to perceive our surroundings.....or given forced time-outs to gather our visions. OR maybe we have been touched by aliens and they are calling secretly into our grey matter.....weeooo weeeooooo weeeooooo :p
