Sue, I am so very sorry to hear of all you have and are experiencing in your family. I pray that God grants you the strength and peace to bear it all, tho sometimes we just wonder how we will get through. You have had enough to bear. My prayers are with you all. Blessins....

The Chinese have a saying that three years of bad luck is followed by six years of good luck. . . so hang in there - your six years is about to come.

Normally, I wouldn't hold much stock in such a saying, except that I am on my second cycle of this!!!

During my most recent three years of bad luck, I had a laundry list of things like yours - getting diagnosed with thyroid cancer, then endocarditis, then surgery, then losing my business, my house, my significant other. I thought it would never end. Seriously - how much can one person take?

Funny how things turn around. I am in a better place now than I have ever been. My business is back with a vengeance, my housing situation is better than it has ever been, I am healthy, happy and full of vigor.

As my signature says, "this too shall pass." Hang in there.

Sue, I am so sorry you have had to deal with so many major things in such a short time. I know how that can wear you out. I'm with you about our kids. It is a thousand times easier to deal with my own problems then watch my kids having to deal with some of the major things they have had to go through. My oldest son and his wife came out of years of infertility and many of the associated procedures and when all was exhausted, God in His perfect timing, blessed them with a wonderful little girl. When I was on the table having OHS my daughter-in-law had her home preg. test confirmed at the lab at Duke. She was really high risk for an ectopic pregnancy so I can only imagine the emotions they were going through on that day. I hope you will have good things emerge from all that is happening in your family as well. You have touched my heart and I will be praying for you. {{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}}}
