The Chairman of the Board of my employer (company) builds fully working scale model steam engines. They are large enough for his smaller grandchildren to sit on and ride. The track runs around his garage and workshop, and in the summers he used to have a spur track out into the yard. His work is amazing -- he buys blueprints of the engines, and then makes all the parts in his home machine shop. He has a very complete shop in his basement, just limited to smaller size work pieces. Just fascinating!
