My new surgery date is the Tuesday the 9th of August. My cold and infection have cleared and doctor gave me the all clear. Only bad thing is my sister is sick who I live with so I am keeping my distance. Apart from that I ve been walking 30 mins a day and eating lots of fruit and veg. So fingers crossed and thanks all for your help.

Hi Brad

My husband will be having his AVR due to biscupid valve w/severe regurg. He was looking at having his done on August 9th as well and wound up with endocarditis (diagnosed 7/18/05) so we are in the wait game now too! He is 34 and has had a known murmer all his life which was followed closesly since 1998. He is now looking at his surgery the 2nd week sometime in September.
