I didn't vote...only because I don't follow any particular driver. Rather, I follow vehicle make.
*pauses*
Heh...any guesses as to what I follow?

Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
Geez...how hard was that?
.
I don't follow NASCAR as much as I used to for a few reasons....
1) None of the cars run on the track are offered by the manufacturers. I have never seen anyone driving a 2-door (coupe) Taurus or Intrepid on the public roads and highways; nor do I see RWD, V8 versions of the Monte Carlo, Taurus or Intrepid being used daily today.
2) With the new body rules, you really can't tell the cars apart anymore.
3) Along with 1 and 2, none of the cars look "stock" at all. Stock car/NASCAR racing used to be "stock" cars off the show room floor (more or less) with a few mods for racing.
Still, if I'm able to watch a race, I do.
